Congratulations!!
In November, 2011, Miss NL Top 8 and Fan Favorite winner, Ashley Avery, was selected by Miss Universe Canada (where, by the way, she placed in the Top 20 and won People's Choice in 2010) to represent Canada in the World Miss University Pageant in Korea, December, 2011!
We are very happy to say that Ashley has arrived home and came away with the Fan Favorite award, beating out China, with over 17,000 votes. We would like to send out a big congratulations to Ashley and a big thank-you to all of you who voted and showed your support for this very deserving young lady! Congratulations Ashley!!
Miss Newfoundland and Labrador Pageant
Miss Newfoundland and Labrador 2010-2011, Rebecca Dawe, crowned her successor on October 2, 2011 at the S.W. Moores Memorial Stadium in Harbour Grace! Congratulations to Mandi Gale, who captured the 2011-2012 Title. We cannot wait to see what amazing things you will accomplish as your reign unfolds. Congratulations to Rebecca Dawe for an amazing year as Miss Newfoundland and Labrador. We are very proud of you and will be forever grateful for your contributions to the Miss Newfoundland and Labrador title.
