Miss Newfoundland and Labrador Pageant

The Committee:

Suzanne Willams is the coordinator of the Miss Newfoundland and Labrador Pageant. She took over this role in 2006 from Michelle Cleary- Haire. Suzanne is a life time resident of Harbour Grace however she spent several years studying at the University of Manitoba. A graduate of St. Claire's high school in Harbour Grace Suzanne is now a student at the College of the North Atlantic where she is studying business administration, human resource management. Suzanne currently resides in Harbour Garce with her husband, Trevor, children, Regan and Ryan, and her mother, Beulah. She loves anything antique, listening to stories from the past, and spending time with her family. Suzanne says the Miss Newfoundland and Labrador Pageant is a wonderful opportunity for the young women of this province to showcase their achievements and to get involved and give back to the province.

 Aimee Power is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science program  at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Along with this Psychology Degree she has also completed a Certificate of Criminology from Memorial University. She is now in the process of obtaining a Social Work degree from Memorial University. Aimee brings 8 years of pageant experience to the table as she competed in and placed in the top 10 of the Miss Teen Newfoundland and Labrador pageant, represented Atlantic Canada at the Miss International Sophisticate Pageant in Myrtle Beach where she captured Miss Photogenic, Miss Community Service, The Russell Adair award and First Runner Up. In 2006 She was crowned Miss Newfoundland and Labrador. She says this is a moment that changed her life and encourages all young women to cease the opportunity and compete for the chance to represent this beautiful province. It is truly a life altering experience and the chance of a lifetime!
